Quick Connect Launcher Stand

Post by Brian »

This is the Quick Connect Launcher Stand that my dad made for me.

It's quicker and easier than using tyre valves and simplifies construction. The handle for the Pressure Release Valve also acts as a 1:4 ratio lever for releasing the rocket.

Hi Brian,

That is a very nice launcher. I bet it is easy to transport to your launch site because it comes apart.

How long does it take to disassemble and reassemble?

You might want to add a third outrigger to keep it from tipping sideways.. If you put a third one and formed a "T" on the opposite side of the launch mechanism, it would be much more stable and resist tipping sideways.

It would look like this:

Thanks!
It only takes a few seconds to assemble because the Quick Connects just click on and the legs just slide in.
This Launcher Stand is designed mainly for small rockets and is stable enough for this.
