Launcher under construction

Here's my first attempt at building a Gardena launcher. The mechanical structure is just about finished and I'm about to start the pipework. The base hinges over so that the launch tube is horizontal and the rocket can be inserted into the gardena connector without losing water.
The spring loaded threaded rods that pull down the gardena collar slide through brass guides. There is a central foot and three adjustable feet. The legs will be modified so that the extended parts can be removed to make transport easier.

Wow, that looks like something that NASA would land on Mars! Very nicely built! That is sure to impress anyone who sees it!

I like the guide idea for gardena collar, mine at present has a plate mount around the collar then using cables to action, looks like you could automate with remote firing. losing water is a pain
