Who/what members founded WRA?

There is no "about us" link, or info that I could find using the search function, nor with Google.

Can anybody describe the founding and early days of the WRA?

Hi Nick,

We do have a "about us" webpage.

http://www.wra2.org/WRA2_History_Page.php

Does that help?

Hi Nick,

The 3 teams that founded the association in 2003 were The Mooseheads, Team Seneca, and U.S. Water Rockets.

About a year later David and I joined and volunteered to oversee the competition since we weren't interested in competing and have management experience in the business world. We have been managing it ever since.

More teams then started joining as word got out and we set up a dedicated website

Rick (Mooseheads) still does some of the web code for us.

I hope that answers your question. :WRA2:

I've often wondered if you two launched water rockets. You must know how to make one after moderating this forum for several years.

Hi Brian,

David And I got into water rocketry when the kids brought them home as a school project about ten years ago. We still occasionally launch during the summer when they are home from college (they are in college now, boy does time fly) EK: .

Sorry for the late response, I have been investigating the spammers with their senseless posts.
