This contest sounds more interesting now that there has been some discussion and clairification. Maybe what is needed is a description of each contest. I like the idea that this is more of a "recovery system" competition and that you don't need expensive altimiters or materials to build the rocket. That means that I can concentrate my rexsources on a top notch lightweight recovery system.

Where it´s a picture of a cracked bottom of a bottle.
This was a hover-rocket when I fill with 250 ml of water and 40 psi.
The valve is glued to the rocket whit a 1440 psi glue for plastics from Pattex.
When the rocket is littly tilted it flies in a spiral in a 10m area keeping an diagonal attitude during the flight. This only happens like 1 in 10 times.
Because the nozzle goes inside the rocket some of the water doesn´t get out so it will be a movable mass that avoids the rocket aiming up and keeping a spiral movement.
This was the 2nd hover-rocket and as the first one it also blasted the bottom after some flights.
It has nothing to due with pressure since I tested with 60 psi and every thing was ok...but after some flights at 40 psi it cracked.
The 2 rockets had different glues, one very weak and one that is strong.
So it has nothing to due with the glue.
Why I am using a bike valve ?
Well to hover it needs low pressure and a small nozzle but the combination of the 2 doesn´t give enough trusth to win the gardena friction.
Unplugging the compressor from the valve made it work.
Why in the bottom ?
I think it amplifies more the effect of the water tilting.
