A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

Hello From North Carolina

Post by CarolinaWaterRockets » Wed Jul 16, 2014 10:12 pm

Hey guys, i go by CarolinaWaterRockets or CWR for short. I've been doing water rockets for over 5 years. I use USwaterRockets parachute recovery designs as they seem as the most reliable and easy to assemble. I wanted to get myself out here to see if anyone here does this hobby in my state of NC. I'd really like to have another person (people) to do this with. Anyways whats up.

heres a video just so i can get myself shown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZu5tr8jOZc

Thanks for the kind words about our designs. Feedback like that is what motivates us to share these ideas with everyone.

Hello CarolinaWaterRockets,

Its nice to have you on the forum. Since you have been going for 5 years I am sure you will have learnt from any mistakes and can share the tips and tricks you have gained from them, before we make the same mistakes!
