High school physics class.

Post by kalebj48 »

I have to build a water rocket that has a climb time of 4.5 seconds or more and I have no idea how to make one.

Can you give a bit more details? Is there a max or min volume, what pressures are you going to be using, is there a max or min weight, does there need to be a parachute, etc?

uswaterrockets.com and aircommandrockets.com are great places to learn about water rocketry.

I think 1.5L bottles are enough. He said ascent time anyway..... And that includes launch, burn, and coast.
