Hi Everyone - What a great resource this place is!

I'm in the process of putting together material to run some STEM club style projects for Kids and I'm aiming to hook them on science and engineering with some water rocketry.

So far the best resources I've come across are Air command, US water rockets, NASA, and NPL websites. Am I missing any other particularly good sites for information on Theory, construction and education aspects?

Many thanks!

Tom

Hello and Welcome,

Those Resources are the main ones. Raketfued Rockets on YouTube are also another good resource with some build videos in English. Being from the UK as well, you will find alot of what equipment you use needs to be tailored to what you can actually get your hands on XD

No water rocket from around the world is the same- bottles here are so thin that some splicing techniques simply don't cut the mustard. Experiment, have some fun, waste some time! I have found Water Rocketry is exactly what engineering is. Think of an idea, design it, build it, test it, learn from it, improvement it, repeat!

I did a electronics STEM club at my school as a 6th form Student and I am sure you will agree that it is very rewarding helping to inspire younger people so good luck with that.

A search on YouTube is the best advise I can give. Look at those channels you have listed and generally the people who comment/recommended channels listed on their pages are a wealth of flights and new techniques.
