Hi,
Just discovered water rockets and got quite excited by the performances of those little guys. I want to build a rocket launcher using the classical cable tie style as described for example here: http://www.uswaterrockets.com/construct ... torial.htm . Now my concerns is that in Europe it is very hard to source imperial dimensions PVC tubes. So my first question is linked to the use of a 20mm (OD) PVC tube as launch tube instead of the 1/2 inch one. As the fitting with the bottle would be less tight, I am worry the guiding of the rocket during the launch phase won't be so effective. Does anyone has experience with that ?
It seems that this topic was already adressed a few times in this forum, especially here: http://www.wra2.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=797 . But unfortunately the link is dead....
Thanks !
M
