My new project ^^

Hi !

As I said in my presentation, I work on a new project of water rocket (2 stages, 1 st = 4 L and 2 L 2nd).
I am only at the very beginning and I find by chance on a site which offers an simple how to for the nose. (link here : http://www.instructables.com/id/Dr-Thunder-Water-Rocket/step2/The-Top/)
The result was missed after a test on one of my bottles... Therefore I wanted your opinion on a simple way to make an aerodynamic nosecone. (Actually I do my nosecone with a top of bottle and a ping pong ball)

Well, here is a first scheme of my system of dropping of the second floor:

Here in the USA we have a large number of different beverages that use brand specific bottles. All products made by the Coca-Cola company have a bottle shape with a narrow area in the middle. These don't make good water rocket pressure vessels. The tops of the Coke products come in different shapes, some are conical and others are stepped in shape. The conical ones can make a nice nosecone, but they need a small ball glued in them to cover the hole made when the neck is cut off. Bottles from Pepsi Cola company have a nice straight side and a ellipsoid top section that makes a great nose. However, the hole in these must also be plugged. We have found that plastic novelty eggs which are sold around the Easter Holiday have a great shape that completes the elliptical nose shape of a Pepsi bottle.
