Materials: a plastic bottle, Epoxy glue, a knife, scissors and a beach tennis ball.
Cut the tip of the bottle with the knife. With the scissors, cut the flaws and the bottom of the bottle. Prepare de epoxy glue and glue the ball from the inside of the bottle. Let it dry and there you have the best nosecone ever.
And why is this so good?
Because it has an optimum aerodynamic. And, furthermore, the rocket falls gently, functioning as a 'trampoline'.
I hope you enjoyed!

Re: Making the best Nosecone
You should try using a handball ball instead of a tennis ball. Handballs are made from a thicker rubber and add weight to the nose for stability. They come in a nice blue color too that looks cool!

Re: Making the best Nosecone
I have used a medium sized foam football cut in half and duct taped to the nose very succesfully for 2 liter designs. This adds a cone shape for looks and more bounce to protect bottles from crushing as earlier designs were unable to prevent.
Any opinion can be raised, but few grow up to become facts.
