Trouble

Post by Water Rocket Expert »

Hey y'all
long time no post

okay well no ones gonna like this. Yesterday, I was launching a 4 leter rocket, and I don't have a really good gardena launcher. So at 80 psi the rocket, which was being launching desperately in a clump of trees (out of summer bordom) with no recovery system, tilted sideways and put a clean hole in the screen in my window. It almost broke the window, but thankfully not. Any idea what speed it might have been going at 80 psi? Well, otherwise, I've been lately busy with saving up for the Apprentice RC plane by eflite.

Too many variables to guess. Sounds like the window was closed and the rocket bounced off? I had a rocket tilt on me when I was using an improvised base. Luckily the release held firm. Stable base and emergency vent are very important for the reasons illustrated.
