New Nosecone Design

Post by Jamie5335 »

Hello All,

I am here again to share our ways of getting round specific problems we have with our types of bottle. Being short and stubby, it is difficult to glue a ball/egg directly into the top of the bottle. To solve this we have made a separate nose cone from a more aerodynamic bottle that was, sanded, cut and painted to form a slick nose cone! The nosecone mounts to the top of the rocket via 3 screws and therefore is removable:

What do you think!? It is not going to set a record for anything! It is just a small new idea.

Very nice, the rocket looks more aerodynamic and it is reusable. I like it.

There are tons of "store brand" drinks that come in bottles just like that around where we live. There are also similar bottles that you get Perrier sparkling water in.

All the Perrier water around here comes in glass, so it won't work out very well!
