10 Flights Guideline
Anyone limit their rockets to 10 flights?
Or more specifically, their pressure bottles?
This one has had quite a few flights, 20 at least with 5 or so at 100psi. I'd say it's done.
That's NASA's reccomendation to educators. And to observe a 2x safety factor by limiting pressure to 50psi. Of course they also expect the person pumping, to be in close proximity to the rocket.

We found that spliced bottles have a limit before the splices begin to fail, but it is much more than 10 flights, and the pressures are up near the limit of the bottles. It is probably due to the bottles stretching and this fatigues the PL premium. Reinforced rockets like our X series can be flown literally hundreds of times with no problems.
