A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

Post by mrussi5 » Fri Oct 19, 2018 9:33 pm

I am trying to find a 3d printable tornado tube to join water bottles, the one I printed from US water rockets has a different thread pitch, The one I need measures at 13 tpi. the two liter bottles are a different pitch. I have access to a 3d printer but not sure how to design the proper thread pitch. any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what software you are using.

There are plenty of 3d thread generators / software for free on the net just search .

Do you know the specs of the thread ?
