OK. This is an interesting patent. It's not clear exactly how this would be approved because it is long on hype and short on data. They say without equivocation that the specific impulse is increased by this system, but they don't even hint at why this is true. it would be like making an air filter with random holes in it and claiming on the patent application that it increases fuel mileage because of the obvious superior air flow.
The idea has been around for quite some time, and several people on this forum have tried various systems to inject water into the air flow or inject foam into the air flow. This design does not look like something that was even tested because the drawing shows that after a certain point the water drops below the inlets and would become dead weight.
It would be great to find out that this was tested and there was some proof of the system, but it looks more like a neat idea which was never physically tested.
