I have done many model airplane classes and last summer I helped with water rocket sessions. Hope to do more of this in the future and make it more of a learning thing.

What kind of model airplane classes do you teach the children? Do you build the planes or just teach them to fly them? Do you use electric planes or internal combustion engines?

Rubber band powered planes.

I have not flown internal combustion planes for a few years, electric planes are so much easier, quieter, and cleaner. I also really enjoy RC gliders.

Rubber band powered planes seems fitting for someone who is also interested in Water powered rockets. Really cool stuff!

I have also created an article and Power Point in the same format as the water rocket article on modern auto mechanics.

http://www.scienceguy.org/Home/ModernAutoMechanics.aspx

Also I am working on solar model car.

For water rockets I used a couple of foam cones to create nose cones. One I covered with two layers of trash liner plastic and the other I wrapped surveyors tape around the cone.
