motorbike race catastrophy

Post by Jelo »

hello everyone,
as some of you may know i live in ireland,

as a very slight number of you may know, a town organises every june a motorcycle race, with motorbikes as big as 1000cc racing at

speeds higher than 170km/h on a small countryside road.

i was there today, and just 5 minutes after i left for my drum lesson, a biker crashed and died as result  a spectator was injured

too but has only minor injuries, as you can see in the video there is absolutely no massive steel barrier or fence seperating the bikes

from the spectators, this was my first time there, and let me tell you, a 1000cc motorbike speeding hardly 3 meters beside is

deffinately adrenalin pumping :esp: i recomend it to anyone with an interest in bikes!

You have to be nuts to do this.... I mean I like sporty riding, but 170 on small narrow back country roads....it's an accident waiting to happen.
