Ir's a "Code". Not rules.

Apples...oranges.

The NAR nor the WRA has any control over recreational, non-competition rocketry.

Neither does the FAA and permits are only needed to build certain rocket engines or fly above certain heights, aside from any local city legislations that apply.

If you were interested in promoting harmony and all that, you wouldn't be going around interpreting every comment or safety suggestion anyone makes to a new guy as mockery. it's almost as if you're going out of your way to foment the exact opposite feelings you claim to support.

The average moderation action here would have been a deletion of the posts deemed offtopic.

Yet you salvaged the thread to continue the debate.....

Nick, Dad or whoever else is helping you write "big words",

The FAA DOES regulate model rocketry:
Here is an example of how they regulate the maximum weight of a rocket.

http://www.flyrockets.com/regulations.asp

We didn't sit around and make these rules up.

I resurrected this thread so that people that do not know about the regulations would have a chance to find out. After all there are people out there like you running around making statements like the above or have fancy websites that neglect to mention these regulations and we wouldn't want someone to inadvertently violate the law just because they met you or saw your website first. It is a waste of time arguing with you, you are nothing more than a troll so go fly your non-compliant rockets yourself and don't be surprised if one day the USAF is knocking at your door (or homeland security, sheriff etc.).
