Cool! Where can you buy the foil? Can you use it with every kind of telescope or only with a mirror telescope?

Amazon, telescope shops etc. have full A4 sheets for around $40. I found a small site that sells small pieces mounted in cardstock so you don't have to buy a full sheet. Works better than glass filters on any scope, binocs or just handheld unmagnified. Just make sure you get the visual astrosolar film, not the photographic version which lets more light through for cameras.
Just a note, I've been told it is starting to get in short supply since the 2017 eclipse in the US is coming soon.
