Post your personal or team best here.

We are considering a redesign of the WRA2 standings page. Would anyone be interested in a "team best" category? We could create a place on this forum where teams submit their best so far. This would be more on the honor system so videos or altimeter graphs would not be required but would be welcome if a team chose to post them. This might even get some friendly rivalries going between the teams.

Ok so who is going to be first? We can start right here in this topic and if we get a large enough response we can seperate it into its own. Just give team name and altitude please. Any pictures, video or graphs can be posted as attachments (not required) in this thread.

This is cool.

My personal best is 545 feet altitude. Tim's best is 590 feet. Our team built best so far is 773 feet, but that had no camera onboard. I don't know which one(s) you want to count.

All three are acceptable. We can have an individual category and a team one. We will update the page after we recieve 10 so now only 7 more to go. Keep it up guys!!! 8) 8)

My team's highest flight to date is 647 feet. I am using steel washers as ballast to simulate the weight of our camera, until I have perfected my parachute system, but this a very representative of the actual height the rocket will reach when fully loaded.

Sorry Guys. I forgot to give the groups permission to post to the new forum topic unmoderated. We have to keep the forums moderated to keep ads for little blue pills or imitation rolex watches from being posted in our forums. Were doing a good job at keeping out the SPAM :D :D

I haven't gotten anything close to where you guys are. My best is about 400 feet. I was thinking about something when I was reading these messages. What I want to know is weather the air gets thinner as you go higher and you get less drag. Does it make a difference?

I don't have any measuring devices. Is there going to be a way for me to post my best. Can I time the length of flight or something?
