Using Hot glue for bottle splicing

Post by Astrofox »

Is it possible (and logical) to use a hot glue gun to glue the bottle segments together for splicing?

NOPE. Firstly the glue isn't strong enough to handle 2100lbf of force. Secondly, the heat from the glue will deform the curl. You can use hot glue on fins though. (Citation: RaketfuedRockets)
