A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

Well, best way to say it, we left on vacation in June and ended up staying gone all summer. We noticed the leaves changing and figured it was time to head home.

That sounds like a great time! But it would be impossible for us to go away that long because we would miss our rocket building and launching adventures!bugwubber wrote:Well, best way to say it, we left on vacation in June and ended up staying gone all summer. Well our trip started off like this- "Hey honey, want to go to Sequoia NP (~1,600 miles away) to teach a water rocket class"?U.S. Water Rockets1 wrote:That sounds like a great time!
