How long do you set your timer for?
Say apoge is at 4 seconds. Is timer set for 4.5 secs (to allow for error) or is it 4 seconds exactly?

Re: Tommy Timer Time setting
it's probably safer to deploy a parachute after apogee, it gives a little room for error.

It's better to error a little on the late side and to make the parachute as strong as possible so that the chute will not tear off if the rocket is still moving when the chute comes out.wracing wrote:How long do you set your timer for?
