Hey I am working on trying to come up with a new way to trigger the MSP430 board. I was wondering if it was possible to hookup a gyro (like the cheap $12 ones found on Hobby King) or a accelerometer like this one: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9269
This seems like it might be a alternative to a UMAD system: http://whooshtronics.com/products-t110/umad.aspx
I was also wondering if it would be possible to have a extra set of pins were you can hookup a backup trigger. For example, what if I put a G switch as the main trigger and a tilt switch or similar for a back up. This could be useful.
Thanks!

Re: ServoChron Trigger Methods
At some point we will have to revisit the software and see what can be done to add these features. A major rewrite would be needed because there was no extra code space left in the processor. We had to optimize the code in really tricky ways to get it to fit as is. Adding any features is a significant undertaking. At some point we plan on doing this because we have a number of requests for a pyro trigger output. We will look at your idea when we add that.DogLover wrote:Hey I am working on trying to come up with a new way to trigger the MSP430 board.
