Side deploy t12 FTC?

Post by Asupremeflight »

Has anyone tried or know of a successful side deployment mechanism for t12 FTC rocket? Looking for attempt at a side deploy with a door that opens to release parachute using a tomy timer.

We never had any success with radial deploy of FTC rockets because the high speed of the FTC rocket would try and rip the "door" off the tube. We went right into axial deploy systems. We have not done anything else for a long time.
