Timer With Hinged Nose

Post by Billkuhl53 »

I built a crude looking rocket from what was left over from my pendulum rocket using the timer. Did not figure out how to make it internal, it hangs out in the breeze and is ugly as heck. Just want to try some ideas. Model airplane hinge on one side with rubber band pulling. Timer inside of rocket with the knob sticking out, RC servo arm on top of knob. Latch is bent from paper clips. On the top it hooks over bottom and servo arm pushes it away. The small tube is for the wire that holds the arm until pulled out on launch. Works great on the ground. Hopefully this will give me ideas for a better looking solution.
