Welcome to the Water Rocket Forum, sponsored by The Water Rocket Achievement World Record Association.

A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

All

Please find a link below to the International Rocket Week 2007. It first started as the Scottish Rocket weekend and has grown into a week long event attended by a multi-national community of rocketeers. I have been attending for 20 years now and it helped forge my career as an aerospace engineer! It is held in a pictureasqu region of Scotland and is well worth a visit!

It is well attended by the UKRA community.
