Welcome to the Water Rocket Forum, sponsored by The Water Rocket Achievement World Record Association.

Since our founding in 2003, we've become the largest, most sophisticated and ground breaking group supporting you, the serious water rocket flyer! Whether you are a beginner or an expert, the WRA2 has something for everyone.

A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

WRA2 Links Page: Corrections

Postby rockets-in-brighton » Tue Jan 19, 2010 1:24 pm

I was just browsing through the links pages on the main WRA2 site. There are a few stale/broken links...

These are completely dead pages...

http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=4
http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=28
http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=33

These are old geocities pages that have long been deleted...

http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=12
http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=14
http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=33

This was Paul Grosse's website, which was hosted on Compuserve, now closed and no new address has been found yet.

http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=10

http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=64 the link label has a spelling mistake, and the link itself is broken and should go here: http://home.people.net.au/~aircommand/recovery_guide.htm

The link to http://sites.google.com/site/h2orockets (http://www.wra2.org/Linkmanager/click.php?id=58) should now go to http://clayton.isnotcrazy.com/waterrockets.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Steve

Thanks for the help Steve,

Your help is appreciated.

I was able to recover all but one using the web archive.

That is always a danger of using those "free" hosting sites when the company decides to pull the plug...poof. Good thing for the web archive.
