I think you´ll like the pictures. It was a great day!

That rocket that exploded is spectacular!

That must be really heartbreaking for the builders.

How much does it cost to build a rocket like that one that exploded? Was it carrying a camera or altimeter when it went up in smoke? What happened?

I don´t know the cost of the rocket but it was an own creation of the builder and so i think it´s was very hard for him to see his rocket exploding.
There´s not much damage in the rocket after the cato. This rocket will soon fly again;). It was a cluster of 7 H123 rocket motors and the rocket have a total impuls of an K-Motor.
But the waterrockets in the air are all my rockets.
Here is my video of the Cato:

And a picture from the tail of the cluster rocket.

I can't tell from the picture because there is nothing in the photo to compare to so I can get an idea of the scale of that rocket. How large is that diameter of that rocket?

I also had a question: do they build their own engines or do they buy them pre-made?

So, a hand in front of the rocket should show the real size of this big rocket.

And some very beautiful pictures of the cato.

Hi FalkE! Thanks for sharing those pictures. It looks like a good time was had by all except maybe the guy who built the KATO! Do you all meet up for regular launches or do you just meet on occasion? Do you have other water rocket photos too?

It looks a lot worse in the video. I can't believe it's the same rocket because it looked like pieces were flying everywhere! Good thing because it looks like it can be fixed.
