Asked my wife to name this rocket cause I knew she would come up with something different. She did not disappoint!

Laissez Le Bon Temps Volent is a 2 liter version of Just add water. There are 3 bottles- a 2 liter pressure bottle with a cap glued to the top of it, the middle payload bottle is a 20oz inverted bottle that screws into the cap on the pressure bottle, and top is a 12oz coke bottle with the neck cut off that is simply glued to the payload bottle. Ballast water is poured into the top of the 12oz coke bottle.

How high? I have no idea yet but it definitely looked like a new team record. Anyone want to give an estimate? This was the design proving flight so no electronics were added.

Launched on the Girl Scout kit launcher that we organized earlier this year.

That rocket sure has an interesting shape. It looks very "sci-fi" if you think about it.

Nice work on the new personal best!

Alright so here is the final version of it. Wanted to post pictures before it gets launched and lost or smashed up.

The duck tape and card stock fairings have been replaced by PET and it was given a final paint job.
Trouble is, wife says the name doesn't fit anymore cause I went and changed it. So guess I've gotta find a new name now.

Here's the launch with camera and altimeter on board. Appeared to be a tad bit nose heavy with the added weight but still did a great job maintaining the high drag descent profile. The turn around time is great, with nothing to reset or repack between launches.. Very happy with it.

Altimeter update: 2nd flight at 100psi achieved 232 feet!

Hobby King / Fly Dream altimeter. Support is poor and software is odd, but $25 makes a fair enough trade off.

Oh sorry, I lied, NOW it's done. The top was bugging me.
