Nice job on that in-flight video. The quality of those CVS recorders is the most impressive small video camera I have seen yet. I think someone on here a while back was talking about them and said you could hotwire them so you don't have to return them to get the videos downloaded to DVD. Is yours hotwired like that?

This is the best quality onboard camera I have seen until now. It is nearly as good as my sony handycam so I just placed a bid on one which has been unlocked. Thank you for demonstrating the quality of this camera.

Is it hard to "hotwire" one of these. I have seen these for sale on EBay before. The ones that arent "hotwired" are usually cheaper.

The procedure for cracking the CVS camcorder is different depending on what model you get. Some are really easy to crack and others are impossible to crack. We had one but we wuined it in the process of trying to crack it. I suggest you get one that's already unlocked.
