A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

Our new Fiberglassed Water Rocket!

Hello Everyone,

For those that haven't seen our latest video on the Blue Diamond 2a, we have recently given fiberglass reinforcement a try and the results are shown in the video:

For whatever reason the letter 's' in 'https' in links to youtube videos causes problems on this forum. If you leave the 's' off the video URL link, then it will embed properly.

Nice video, by the way!

Thanks U.S. Water Rockets for that advice and for the compliment about the video. I have always wondered why the videos were not appearing on the forum! Oh well, now I know! :)

Usually one of the admins will notice the link and fix it. Maybe they are on vacation?
