Duck gets a new paint job

The yellow paint had really taken a beating and I wanted to make it easier to see in the snow.

It has been way too long since our last launch. Definitely time to get out to the launch pad.

Thanks! That double nose cone is open on top. It holds a small amount of water ballast that is dumped out at apogee. The rocket then falls back to earth sideways for high drag tumble recovery.

Final detail added with quill and waterproof ink..

This rocket will be given to the Pack to go in their display.

Wow. You even added the Cub Scouts logo to the paint. Talk about attention to detail!
