I am planning on building something that is similar to this. It might help now that I know that there are people actually doing this successfully. I am hoping that mine will look more like the space shuttle. I hope to have a simulated fuel tank and the boosters as well. We will see how well it goes. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to get started for a while longer :(

I am thinking of using political signs for my base material. It just so happens that there are a lot right about now :)

The corriflute ones are hard to come by these days. Everyone seems to be using the ones that look like a printed plastic bag stretched over a wire frame.
