Hello C.I.A.C.

Unfortunately the class B record still stands at 1060 Feet.(323m) and is held by Bruce Berggren.

http://www.wra2.org/WRA2_Standings.php

For class A, B, and the 1000 foot challenge we require an onboard electronic "logging altimeter" that records an altitude vs. time graph (this can also be accomplished using telemetry transmitted from the rocket to a ground station).

This requirement can be found in http://www.wra2.org/WRA2_Class_B_Rules.php Section I paragraph 7.

If acquiring an altimeter is cost prohibitive we would suggest entering the WRA2 class C competition.
http://www.wra2.org/WRA2_Class_C_Rules.php

This competition currently has no standing record (you could be the first) and does not require the expensive electronic logging altimeter.

I just wanted to say that video of your flight was really beautiful. That flight was really incredible.

Nice, you found the secrect comrpessor though. certian car AC compressors can build pressure. I have since moved my intrest from water rockets to trucks. But people actually buy the compressors and use them as onboard air.

Hey Dragracer!!

Long time no see!

We think trucks and cars are great hobbies too. But we think you could do both. We miss your input!

It's great to hear from you again!

The official list of current water rocket world records can be found on our standings page.

http://www.wra2.org/WRA2_Standings.php

The Current world record for multiple stage rockets stands at 1060 feet (323 meters).

Please review the official requirements to qualify for a multiple stage world record which can be found at:

Don't forget to check out the flights Alex did earlier this year where he came close to setting a new multi-stage world record. He had some technical issues but really went high. His design was really innovative. It looks like there are several teams here experimenting with new variations of the design and with a little luck there will be a new record set by one of our fellow forum members one of these days.
