Water Rocket Bloopers (and a crash)

Post by TwoOnnies »

The road towards a world record is long and difficult.

After a couple of very succesfull launches of my first FTC rocket, everything went wrong last weekend. At the first two launches, my trigger wire broke. The last launch went perfect, nose cone came off nicely, but the parachute did not open ...

But now, I have to go back to the drawing board (and the sewing machine)

Wow! That rocket looks like it went way up there! it took forever to come down. I thought it was on a parachute it took so long!

Hi,
nose cone came off nicely, but the parachute did not open
Haha, the same happened to me yesterday. I begin to believe that it's normal parachute behavior.

Try lubrication of the parachute with cooking spray or talc!
