Kerbii's Rockets

This is the original launcher we made, launching 2 liter bottles:

Safety first, you could get wounds in your face for the rest of your life.

You know that a scar costs almost 5000 euros to be treated by a plastic cirurgian ?

That looked like a really close call. It's not clear if anyone was hurt. That explosion could do worse than wound your skin. You could lose an eye or both eyes from something like this. Please use the proper safety equipment and procedures!

using a bottle which isnt meant to be pressurised doesnt help either...

All bottles are engineered to hold a certain amount of pressure because the pressure of the air inside will vary quite a bit due to variations in ambient temperature, but the pressure you use for water rockets is definitely beyond that level.
