What is the Altitude Challenge?

Post by Tommy »

I was wondering if this is for the world record part, or something else?

Hi Tom,

For any further questions, please post them to the WRA2 competition Q & A forum. This forum is for contest submissions only.

Basically the altitude challenge is an entry level competition for "bragging rights". There is a pressure limit of 200PSI and "peak altimeters" (less costly then logging altimeters). Winners will earn a spot on the standings page alongside the world records. The purpose is to teach teams to build rules compliant rockets and follow the general WRA2 launching and safety regulations. Since the rockets would already be compliant, teams could "scale them up" in the future to compete in the world record competitions. :WRA2:

There are currently no "standing winners" for this competition so the first team with a submission will go to the top of the chart.

Good Luck!
