Stumbled upon these water rockets a few weeks ago so I decided to throw something together. Hope to have the whole thing controlled from my iPhone with Bluetooth later today.

Awesome launcher! The release mechanism is sort of what I had in mind for my "dream launcher" but I couldn't see a way to do it without machining my own parts. Is that what you did?

I especially like your ability to fuel the rocket with both water and air pressure after it's mounted on the launcher.

I am currently building a system similar to this one at the moment

I take it that there is a one way valve on the water input?

Yes, machined all the parts, there are check valves on both the water and air.
