A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

My Hozelock / Gardena Launcher - 15mm Copper fittings

For info and to help others with ideas, here is my launcher:
Its made from some ply that i had laying around. I used 15mm copper pipe and compression fittings to 'plumb' it all together. It has a check valve (non return) to prevent water entering the air pump. It has a valve for filling / releasing pressure if needed.
