Another work of art!
I like how the gauge says "Danger" in red. Did it come like that or did you print that somehow?

WOW!!!
That is one impressive launcher.
As a matter of fact it is probably the best launcher I have seen.

Tim, I just looked at our gauges and there is a metal ring holding the glass in. We could print a sticker and put it over the face of the gauge if we want. I think I can get access to a color laser printer to make some stickers with. If we use our printer the ink will blur and run if it gets wet. Inkjet prints do that.Tim Chen wrote:Another work of art!

Hey Guys, That gauge came from a NAPA automotive store. Located with the air accessories. It's all plastic, not really a high quality component.

Where did you obtain the metal hose connection? It looks like a Schrader valve tire pump or compressor would connect to that inlet. Many people would be interested in an off-the-shelf solution to pump connection.

Hey, The schrader valve came from NAPA also. They usually have a spinning rack that has gauges, stems, tire tools...etc.

I have seen some of those tire valves that are designed for mag wheels that attach to the wheel with threads. Has anyone else seen these and if so what kind of threads do they use? Are the threads compatible with common pipe threads or at the very least are there adaptors that could be used

If the ones Your talking about have rubber washers and thin locknuts they will be straight threads and probably not the same pitch as a pipe thread. A 1/8" npt is 27 threads per inch. I'll give ya another really good vendor that might help quite a bit.

They a little of everything. Fittings, materials, fasteners....etc.

That site is a great source for hardware. I should be able to adapt this tire valve to fit to 1/2 inch steel pipe that is part of my launcher.
This is one of the great things about this forum. There is always someone with an answer to my questions.
Have a good day
