Hello From Upstate New York

Post by Xovan »

Just wanted to say hello. My 10 year old sun has been asking to build a water rocket ever since we saw the mythbusters show. Well after one of the coldest winters I can remember (Global warming yea right) It is finally warm enough to make good on my promise. I came across this site last week while searching on how to make a launcher and everyone seemed to be nice and helpful to beginners so I decided to join and say hello today. I will be going to get the supplies I do not have around the house in a little while and I am sure I will have a problem or two along the way. Will keep you posted on our progress.

Thanks for having me,
Rob

Howdy Neighbor! Nice to meet up with another New Yorker from the lesser known part of the state!

It's great to hear our work on Mythbusters has recruited yet another new enthusiast. Please say "Hi" to your son on our behalf!

Hi from Australia, my son is 6 and has had a lot of fun with the rockets, especially when the parachute fails. All the best on your build.
