Hi,
sure you boys have seen this but went into the local hardware store and found a gardena fitting that twists to release.
This is excellent as all that is required is a lever around the top. No pulleys etc.

Hi,
the nice thing is they have a standard thread which fits into off the shelf plumbing accessories.
The spring is firm and has a positive feel, have not idea of how to pull the thing to pieces.
