Hello,
Is there a list of acceptable altimeters that are allowed in the competitions?

Since we are a worldwide organization, it would be difficult to maintain a current list of the available altimeters and keeping the list up to date when the manufacturers release new models and discontinue old ones or new companies come online. We provide a generic specification in the competition rules for the type of altimeter required. What you can do if in doubt is to find a locally available altimeter and then come back here and post a link to the site selling it and ask if this altimeter will work for whichever competition you were planning on participating in. If in doubt, ask before you buy or build.

We've been using their products for years. Very good stuff.

The altimeter one is a great low cost altimeter if you just want to see how high it went.
