Manifold can be used for multi-bottle first stage boosters, or for multiple launches, like for scouts. The scouting events have so many launches and the manifold with valves gives a range master control of the pressure. The pressure regulator came from Harbor Freight. Helps to ensure everyone gets the same pressure, sort of. Time for filling is always a factor.

Re: Air Manifold
This was discussed in the other topic. It is a great idea to make the contest fair. Everyone has the exact same pressure!mikepasserotti wrote:Manifold can be used for multi-bottle first stage boosters, or for multiple launches, like for scouts. Re: Air Manifold
I had the idea of using something like this to be able to pressurize different sections of a rocket, such as the boosters, to a different pressure than than the rocket itself. Nice design.

Re: Air Manifold
I'm going with something along these lines but I've moved the manifold out to the launchpad so I have just one air line feeding it. Cutting out the rocket release today.
