A water rocket is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The pressure vessel (the engine of the rocket) is constructed from thin plastic or other non metallic materials (usually a used plastic soft drink bottle) weighing 1,500 grams or less. The water is forced out by compressed air. It is an example of Newton's third law of motion.

Good job on the new personal best altitude. Too bad the rocket is toast.

By the way, there is an embed youtube bbcode on the top right side of the posting page that will embed the video in the post. (you were using the url code instead).

Wow. Sorry that your rocket crashed. We know the feeling! Hopefully you can rebuild it easily.
Do you think the altimeter is still accurate? The sensors are easy to damage. We had a crash once and the altimeter was way off calibration and we had to buy a new one. Can you test for accuracy?

As many crashes as our Jolly logic has sustained, I have never actually thought that it could get damaged as long as it was still working. I'll look into that, thanks.
