Hi all,
My launch rod has gotten pretty scuffed up and scratched from all the launches it's been through. It has gotten to the point where just trying to guide the bottle onto the rod is difficult, and is obviously adding a lot of resistance to the launch and hurting performance. Does anyone know of a good way to clean up the launch rod? Would sand-paper work on PVC? Or can I use a lubricant of some sort.
Thanks,
Oren

fine grit wet sandpaper is what I use. Just remove or protect your o-ring. I've learned to keep a "dunk bucket" by the launcher to clean nozzles before loading on the launcher.

He can also try steel wool to polish it up. That also works great!bugwubber wrote:fine grit wet sandpaper is what I use. Just remove or protect your o-ring. I've learned to keep a "dunk bucket" by the launcher to clean nozzles before loading on the launcher.
