The perfect 1 liter bottles
Here they are
There are no embossed logos or lines, just simple smooth sided bottles with an elegantly curved neck.

We have a similar bottle locally. The local supermarkets sell "store brand" flavored seltzer water in a bottle that looks very much like that. They hold shape up to about 210PSI and then they start to deform and burst at about 250. Pretty amazing considering that they are not the "thick bottles" that everyone in the EU try to use for water rockets. These are regular bottles with thin walls just like any other bottle.
The reason is probably the shape of the bottle and they are possibly made with the same preform as a 2l bottle, just not inflated as big. The walls are somewhat thicker than a 2l bottle but nowhere close to the walls thickness that the bottles our friend Raketfued in Germany uses.

Cool, they look like they might have come from the same mold. Do the labels say which bottling company filled them?

We will have to get back to you on that. All the labels from these bottles are in the landfill at the moment.

No prob. Mine say Polar Corp of MA so it wouldn't be a stretch at all that the same bottler was involved.

Nope, nothing about the bottler on the label. The only identification mark is that the small gap between some of the "feet" on the bottom has some molded in text.bugwubber wrote:No prob. Mine say Polar Corp of MA so it wouldn't be a stretch at all that the same bottler was involved.
One gap has the PETE recycling logo.
One gap has the number '4'.
One gap has a fancy stylized cursive letter 'P'.
That's all.

Interesting! I see similar marks on the bottom. A capital P, number 16, Pete 1 symbol.U.S. Water Rockets wrote:Nope, nothing about the bottler on the label. The parent company of the beverages we have is based in Maine. So the bottles are from the Northeastern USA.bugwubber wrote:Interesting! I see similar marks on the bottom.
