New Cam

Post by Team Seneca »

I have a really nifty new camera. I got it from a co-worker who went to China. It was about $100 but well worth the price! The company making it is called "AEE" and the camera is what they call a "MiniDV". It's the smallest camera I have ever seen! It's roughly rectangular and is about 2" x 1" x 0.5" in size. It has the smallest memory card I have ever seen too! I had to get a 4MB "microSD" because it came with no memory. The best part is that it's skinny enough to fit into a T8 FTC and the sensor is oriented so that the image is oriented properly with the camera is vertically oriented inside the FTC. It only does 25FPS but it's 640x480 and the images are very sharp. It weighs about as much as a 9V battery, so it's ideal for Water Rockets. :WRA2:

I have seen this camera on youtube. I will be getting one for my rockets. The case is metal so it won't break in a crash!
