Greetings from Azores

Post by Ram »

Hello everyone,

I am an enthusiast for rocketry in general, and water rocket in particular. Even if I can make my own solid rocket engines or even hybrids, nothing replaces the simplicity, safety and general fun we can have with water rockets. An that is coming for someone that is involved with Euroc, an event with rockets that fly to 9 km.
I started this hobby with my kids, as an activity for birthday parties (always a hit). Eventually I started expanding the knowledge and my builds, much inspired by the George and his father, for youtube's Air Command Rockets.
I have been invited to perform workshops about water rockets for high school teachers, and I was involved in many STEM projects with the local school.

You can see one of these projects here:
It shows a 300 meters rocket (at simulation, it was destroyed before getting that altitude, but it performed as per simulation at lower pressures).

I am now working with a more professional launcher and new bottle assembly system, and would like a shot at the class E record.
